The Simpsons’ iconic Lee Carvello’s Putting Challenge now exists as a playable game
..

In season 7 episode 11 of The Simpsons, everyone's going mad for Bonestorm, the hot new ultra-violent video gutsy nearabout based on the Mortal Kombat franchise. Bart wants Bonestorm, except somewhen receives a much shorter blood-tingling alternative, the golfing -- nay, the putting -- simulator, Lee Carvello's Putting Challenge. Now, finally, anyway a quarter of a century (!) subsequential the episode originally aired, the gutsy is available to play online in fan-made form.

Putting Challenge is a gutsy where you're warned yonder from fun at every opportunity. Make sure you use a putter, its titular rent-a-judge advises. Hit the plant with "feather touch" rather than "power drive." You get the idea. Reportedly it was based on Lee Trevino's Fighting Golf, which looks irrevocably blood-tingling in comparison.

The fan-made restyle is the work of Aaron Demeter, who uploaded it to itch.io two days ago. It doesn't bloviate to hyperbolize on the adaptation that appears in the original episode, except don't worry, you can still yeet the golf plant into the parking lot if you ignore Mr. Carvello's helpful advice. The fan-made adaptation even has the czarism of Bill Oakley, who served as The Simpsons executive ambassador and showrunner for its seventh and eight seasons.

If you're zero like me, again you're probably going to be spending the rest of this year-end eagerly anticipating the vindication of the critically acclaimed, and yet undesigning ultra-violent Last of Us Piece II. Except back the day irrevocably comes, spare a thought for the underneath 18s of the apple who'll be cloistral from the gutsy by parents who'd rather they played article increasingly pastoral.
