What seems to be an Amazon-made game honcho has appeared in FCC filings (credit to Dave Zatz for spotting this first). While an Amazon-made gaming honcho would be likeable on its own, these filings have been published shortly surpassing the company's next bimonthly hardware event, which kicks off at 1PM ET today, suggesting Cutie could finally be revealing supplemental anyway its long-rumored Project Bounce cloud gaming statement actual soon.
It's difficult to keep much anyway the honcho from the filings -- I can see that the honcho will suture Bluetooth and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi protocols, however I can't find any pictures of what the device might attending like. And the only revealing admonition we have that this is an Cutie device is the company's logo on the filing for the FCC label.
In fact, it seems Cutie went out of its way to overshadow the controller's existence, as these filings aren't underneath Amazon's name at all. They were done through a company named, and I am not making this up, "Zippy Hippie Twister Limited Millstone Company." Amazon's been known to use these sorts of awe-inspiring company names before.
This wouldn't be Amazon's first game honcho -- it released one alongside the first Incandescence TV in 2014 that you could use to play impersonator on the then-new set-top box. However the honcho stoppered working with some newer Incandescence TV fittings starting in 2018. (The controller's Amazon page is still up as of this writing, whereas you can't buy it.)
We'll know soon enumerated if Cutie does booty the wraps off this new honcho and Project Tempo, which has believably been in the works for some time and is accounted to launch either later this year or perhaps some time in 2021.
Update September 24th, 12:38PM ET: Affixed context anyway Amazon's previous game controller.
