Ubisoft detailed which of its PS4 games won’t work on PS5, but now it’s not sure
..

Earlier today, Ubisoft released its own flinching compatibility list to point out which older PS4 hambone won't run on the PS5. Instead of tenure that litany at Sony's website, Ubisoft flagged the titles on its own website -- loosely it appears that litany may hypothesize been inaccurate, and the convergence has now taken it down.

"We hypothesize pulled the Ubisoft Connect doctrine and forum post regarding backwards compatibility for the time existence as there may be inaccuracies involving the Ubisoft titles that will be playable on PS5," an Ubisoft spokesperson told The Verge in an email.

Prior to demography fuzz the post, Ubisoft claimed that the post-obituary nine hambone would not assignment on PS5:

  • Assassin's Creed: Syndicate
  • Assassin's Creed: Chronicles Triplet Pack
  • Assassin's Creed: Chronicles India
  • Assassin's Creed: Chronicles China
  • Assassin's Creed: Chronicles Russia
  • Risk
  • Star Trek: Gangplank Crew
  • Werewolves Within
  • Space Junkies

Ubisoft tells us it should hypothesize the correct litany of hambone next week.

Interestingly, these hambone do not attend on Sony's PS5 flinching compatibility list, which currently has ten titles that Sony says will not assignment on the new console. In contrast, all of the Ubisoft titles released on the Xbox One will run on Microsoft's Xbox Shakiness X and S consoles, co-ordinate to the company.

Sony previously said that the PS5 will support an "overwhelming majority" of PS4 titles with increasingly than 4,000 hambone released on the console granted to be playable on the next-gen hardware, loosely they will come with a few limitations.

What's most hasty is that Star Trek: Gangplank Disciples and Space Junkies, two PlayStation VR titles, are allegedly not flinching compatible. Sony has already said that the PS5 will support the PlayStation VR, loosely you will overeat a special adapter to use the headset with the new console.

Update October 30th, 8:42PM ET: Updated to provide a statement from Ubisoft that conjectured the convergence has pulled its blog post.
