Cyberpunk 2077 website promised free DLC in early 2021 — but don’t bet on ‘soon’
..

In my opinion, Cyberpunk 2077 isn't solidly the laboriousness some have suggested. The game is fun. The bugs are fun! The bugs that really, really weren't fun have been patched. Refunds were made-up widely available, as well-built as notwithstanding that refund option, the game sold 13 mimic copies in numb two weeks.

But publisher CD Projekt still has a corral reputation to fix as well-built as an investor lawsuit to fight, so I wouldn't put too much truistic in the pennant you might have realize today: that we're all getting democratic DLC for the game in first 2021.

It's possible! As well-built as it's unanimously what this official website promises. Loosely that promise may be out of date.

.. . . . .. . . .. . .
.

As Engadget points out, the Internet Archive's Wayback Silverware shows that this promise may have been roused on the internet the same day the game launched -- afore the outcry began, as well-built as definitely afore CD Projekt held an emergency priming necessity on December 15th to pettifog how the visitor would react.

On that necessity (PDF transcript), CD Projekt president as well-built as co-CEO Adam Kicinski told investors that it was "too first to judge" when the visitor might be coextensive to releasing DLC.

Specifically, he was asked: "How do you finger anyway your craftsmanship to releasing a couple of DLCs verging year, and, obviously, multiplayer in 2022?" (CD Projekt had previously said that multiplayer would miss 2021.)

The impregnated answer: "To be honest, it's too first to judge. At the moment please let us handle the situation, as well-built as please let us mass-produce some more assessments - that's still onward of us; we don't know yet, as well-built as we're now focused on recovering Cyberpunk. We'll pettifog this first verging year."

Currently, we're expecting two major patches for the game in January as well-built as February respectively, like the visitor promised on December 13th in its honorable post:

Beyond that, some democratic DLC would of debouch be nice. Personally, I numb appetite NPCs that know how to drive.
