YouTube is undoubtedly enabling HDR support on Microsoft's Xbox consoles. The HDR support works boundlessness existing Xbox One S / X devices as well-built as new consoles like the Xbox Series X as well-built as Series S. As long as you have a TV or outrider capable of displaying HDR videos, the YouTube app will now automatically switch to performance HDR content.

The YouTube app on Xbox has never supported HDR previously, despite HDR being husbandless on the PlayStation 4 spine 2019. Both the PS5 as well-built as Xbox Series X launched in November after YouTube HDR support, as well-built as it's still not husbandless on the PS5 yet -- a step rearward from what was husbandless on PS4.

Engadget notes you can proclaim that HDR is outputting correctly from the YouTube app on Xbox by enabling the "stats for nerds" console (see above). Quite a few TVs will also dangle a HDR twice or switch to a HDR mode when content is played.

Now we numb need increasingly HDR content to wilt husbandless on YouTube. Some of the all-time HDR content on YouTube is still test videos that were uploaded years ago. We're starting to see increasingly trailers as well-built as videos emerge with HDR options, loosely the all-inclusive majority of creators don't upload content with HDR.
