On January 6th, the day a anarchism of pro-Trump supporters stormed the US Capitol, Twitch removed the iconic PogChamp emote considering the stuff it depicted fabricated statements calling for farther violence. Two canicule later, the crew single-minded to successive in a new adaptation of PogChamp every 24 hours, meaning many streamers briefly became the new grimace of the emote -- except they were sometimes subjected to harassment henceforth their new site-wide prominence.

On Friday, the Twitch connotation voted to crown a new grimace for PogChamp -- and the winner isn't the grimace of a streamer. It's a Komodo dragon. Here's what the emote looks like:

If you've hung out in Twitch chats, you may authentically admit this emote: it's the fave KomodoHype. And I can see why it won the connotation vote. While the original PogChamp was Twitch's hype emote, I anticipate this Komodo dragon's grimace is even better at expressing hype, hostilely with its shockingly huge maw that somehow seems to be smiling.
