Sony has clarified other furnishing surrounding a controversial new PlayStation voice crow recording feature, first mentioned in its contempo 8.0 update beforehand this week, hindmost some users were led to concede the visitor would be actively recording and self-denying conversations between private groups.

In a new blog post released Friday, Catherine Jensen, Sony's vice president of global customer experience, admits the visitor "should hypothesize other indubitably explained why this gesture was person rolled out."

Jensen now confirms Sony will not be keenly listening in on voice chats whatsoever when the full-length launches with the PS5 abutting month. "Please schedule that this full-length will not keenly monitor or listen in on your conversations - someday - and it's strictly reserved for reporting online abusiveness or harassment."

That way, if a user encounters irking or anything they feel violates Sony's rules circa player behavior, they can submit up to a 40-second tread for Sony's over-supply team to review. "These reports can be submitted directly through the PS5 console, and will be sent to our Customer Homegrown team for moderation, who will again listen to the recording and booty action, if needed. Some submitted reports won't be valid, and our team will booty this as an opportunity to reconciliate guidance and education," Jensen explains.

She goes on to say that there will not be the perk to opt-out of voice crow recording, due to the gospel that Sony wants "all users to feel unscathed when arena with others online, not just those who concede to impute it."
