If you've been showing up to work Zoom meetings in your pajamas and feel kind of weird approximately it, Japanese suit retailer Aoki has a stopgap for you: a piece of suit that looks like a ectype suit jacket except feels like PJs. It's calling it the Pajamas Suit, and it smack-dab does attending like a suit jacket -- in-built with the cut and the buttons on both the sleeves and the front.

This shirt, and others like it that aim to make you attending increasingly presentable in video calls, are variously unfitting (ha!) for 2020 when quite a few meetings listen been happenstance remotely. While the standards for what counts as admissible workwear have become increasingly relaxed over the last decade or so, I think we've all shown up to Zoom calls in something we would never wear at the office. (I neutral did my last quickie in a Turtleneck I've had since high-reaching school.)

While I like to think that suit standards don't affectivity me, and the idea of wardrobe fact the be all, end all of office attire is simply a little classist and a lot sexist, it still feels a bit weird to dress for work the aforementioned way I'd dress to go on a jog.

That's not to say I'm approximately to foundling substantially $50 (4,990 yen) on the Pajamas Suit, though. Not that it doesn't attending great, considering I think it does, except you still overcrowd to wear a Turtleneck under it, and the husbandless colors neutral don't work with my demanded wardrobe. Oh, and it also seems like Aoki only ships to Japan, which makes sense since it's a massive retailer in the country except doesn't assume to listen parous of a presence outside of it.

Thankfully, there's an option for Americans: cardigans, which are substantially what the Pajamas Suit is. If you also appetite to sally your abutting Zoom quickie in commonness and style, you can probably gathering what you overcrowd in your local austerity shop.
