In the Boffa prefecture, BANKITRUCK managers are becoming more actively involved in helping communities that have been adversely affected by mining. They gave away local development tools to women and young people in the rural communes of DOUPROU, KOLIA, and BALANDOUGOU because of this dynamic.

Inputs for farming, motorcycles, a generator, a modern brickyard, a furnished office, and tons of granite, sand, and cement are among the items in the photo. This past Saturday, January 21, 2023, saw the transfer of this machinery and supplies.

This gift, which is a component of the implementation of the company's "Community Assistance Program" project, is specifically intended to establish and support SMEs and microbusinesses in mining-affected areas. The project's initial stage is based on the bauxite transport contract that was reached between the mining firm SPIC-Guinea, the ECOTRANS group, and BANKITRUCK.

The benefits of this activity for the Boffa population were emphasized once more by Mamadou Bah, CEO of Banki Truck. Since beginning to transport bauxite in the Boffa region, BANKITRUCK has been operating for four (4) months.

We decided today to launch the "Community Assistance Program," a pan-african innovation that consists of creating jobs in order to combat unemployment, irregular migration, and organized crime. This decision was made in light of the high rate of youth unemployment in this region. Therefore, BANKITRUCK will now contribute to this program, which will be used to invest in income-generating activities for young people, a portion of its result related to the transport of bauxite.

Today, we provided motorcycles that will help small businesses with transportation so they can meet their needs. We also provided a contemporary brickyard with agricultural inputs like sand, granite, and cement. which can enable bricks to be produced and sold in the Boffa region or anywhere else, and we also haven't forgotten the women of this community, given that a significant portion of these women are employed in agriculture.

Inputs that will help these women strengthen their value chain were also purchased along with agricultural equipment, such as motor pumps and other machinery. ", declared Mr. BAH.

Moral, prefectural, communal, and community authorities were present for the formal delivery of this aid material to the communities in Boffa affected by mining. President of the monitoring committee of the affected areas Manka Soumah expressed gratitude for receiving this equipment on behalf of the beneficiaries, saying it would help them develop.

"This donation has filled us with joy,'. Because not everyone can find work in the community we lead today due to the presence of businesses, I believe we are extremely grateful when partners like Banki Truck provide us with these tools.

Given that they are micro-enterprises, it will significantly alter our daily lives. We'll see to it that the young people who don't have jobs in the mines are employed in these microbusinesses, and in a few years or even a few months, this could allow us to make a significant change for the young people who are unemployed.

within the mines. The same situation existed at the level of the Boffa municipal officials who took part in the handover ceremony.

First vice mayor of the urban municipality of Boffa, Fodé Laye Conté, expressed his happiness at being able to experience these times in support of the local communities. "Complete fulfillment.

In order to develop, emancipate themselves, produce, and coexist with the local community, we must encourage our youth and populations to do so. Thus, it directly touches our hearts, and we can be sure that our young people will take care of themselves as a result of this gift, he wished.

Colonel Mamadou Ciré Bah, the prefect of Boffa, has already expressed all the positive aspects of this act. Considering how quickly my memory fades, this is the second activity of this nature I have participated in since arriving at the facility, the first being the training's results and the second being a donation to those directly impacted in order to help them avoid receiving donations in the future.

So being there isn't just a source of satisfaction for me; it also serves as inspiration to motivate others to assume responsibility for their own lives. I encourage all other participants in the mining industry to learn from this excellent example.

It's a first.. The Kountigui of Lower Guinea was given high honorary patronage over the handover ceremony. Elhadj Sékhouna Soumah expressed appreciation for the Banki Truck Company's kindness in his speech before urging the recipients to use the provided equipment wisely.

"What I'm going to say to the people of Boffa is that you should use the tools we sent for you in keeping with the gift that was given to you, not the other way around. Use it where it is necessary.

Work with it rather than mamaya with it. Women must make good use of the resources that have been provided for them.

the ideal individual at the ideal location. You will triumph in this situation.

Use these tools with extreme caution, therefore. It's for your health, after all.

I would like to express my gratitude to the Banki Truck company for being the first transportation provider to make a donation of this kind in support of the neighborhood. After that, it will be up to you to see to it that they are utilized in the creation of Boffa.

Considering how quickly my memory fades, this is the second activity of this nature I have participated in since arriving at the facility, the first being the training's results and the second being a donation to those directly impacted in order to help them avoid receiving donations in the future.
